Applied on the 10th, received a call on the 11th and was told to print out application and consent forms to bring to the job fair on the 14th (today).
Came into the location (In Brampton) at the registration desk, signed in and there were already 9-10 people there. After I handed in my application to the clerk, we were invited to sit in the lunch area maybe after 5-10mins. There were two workers there that then explained we had to do 2 numerical tests that were 4 minutes in length.
- The first consisted of a pair of numbers and they were either identical or not. You had to then check-mark the "SAME" column to state the numbers were both the same, or to leave it blank if they weren't. Maybe 60 questions worth. Found myself done early with a some seconds to spare to look over answers. Really easy.
- The second assessment was there being a series of 6 numbers and you had to determine the next two numbers in that series.. maybe 30 questions worth? Example: 1,1,3,3,5,5 the next two numbers would be 7,7. Finished right on time, after I stumbled with 2 questions, but still really easy.
Waited maybe 3-5mins before they started calling us for interviews. I believe I was interviewed by an HR manager and a Senior Manager, although the HR manager (a nice woman) did more of the talking. She asked relatively easy questions about my past work experiences, what I wanted in life and where I saw myself in 5 years.
Whole process took a little bit more than an hour. I remember hearing some other potential hires saying how they've never done an interview like this before and it was strange. I agree with them. The female interviewer said that I'd be contacted through email in a few days as to whether I got the position or not.
