Interview
I first submitted my application online and immediately got an email asking for an interview. The first interview was a 30 minutes slot with a Chinese Evaluator. 10 minutes of it was a mock class. After passing that I did practicum 1 which was a full 25 minute mock class with an evaluation from the teacher. I was then asked for a 2nd practicum, which was a 15 minute mock class for a 5 yr old and then a 10 minute mock class with an 8 yr old (he teacher was acting as though he were those ages). It was actually a lot of fun!
Got hired as a British speaking then cancelled as not from America which I disclosed at the first interview which I think was silly and unprofessional at the time it was during covid when this happpened.
Very lenghthy interview process, but the interviewers were nice and helpful. There were several steps to the process and it was pretty involved. I had to prepare a lesson beforehand
It was easy an straightforward. 1 interview and 2 mock classes to pass. They offer a contract for a year with option to renew after 1st contract is over. Overall the process last for about 2 weeks from the time you apply unless you are waitlisted.
