Had three rounds of interviews, got rejected after the third interview and the recruiter offered feedback. I followed up 4-5 times for feedback but received no reply, really unprofessional. The interviewers seemed fine.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Vanta
Interview
8 rounds resulting in no offer. The recruiter was not transparent about the number of rounds or time investment up front. Interviewers had great questions and were good people. I enjoyed meeting with real stakeholders. The interviews included an old school white boarding exercise. The senior designer hosting it was not interested in being there which left me feeling that the exercise was set up to fail. The lack of transparency and broken, micromanaged hiring pipeline would stop me from applying again. Which is sad because I would have helped redesign this insane hiring process.
I applied online. I interviewed at Vanta in Nov 2022
Interview
HR reaches out to you. If they like you, you'll meet with the hiring manager, then the 3rd interview is with a panel where you do a whiteboard session. Each interview stage you'll have to go through an online app to pick a time that fits which was nice. The session with the hiring manager was 45min long but expect only 5min of question time. Be ready, you might get cut off right at 45min if they don't like you.
