      Credit Analyst Interview

      Sep 7, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Verizon

      Interview

Applied, about a week or so later I received a call from a recruiter to schedule an interview. Interview was laid back, asked a few behavioral questions, and some basic interview questions. About three weeks later I received a call to interview for pretty much the same position over again just with a different manager. Received an offer about a week later.

      Application

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verizon (Bellevue, WA) in Jan 2010

      Interview

I had been a credit consultant for Qwest Communications and applied for the same position with Verizon Wireless. I was called to come in for an interview and arrived at Verizon's location in Bellevue, Wa. My interview was fairly brief because the interview started off restating the salary and asking if the amount was an acceptable amount. I inquired if the amount was negotiable and was told that it was not. Then the interviewer proceeded to as me a few questions about my experience and how I handled a high volume of inbound calls. I was also asked why I would be a good candidate for the position. After the 1:1 interview I was supposed to take a computerized skills test; however, the interviewer suggested that I go home and think about whether or not the pay issue would be a deal-breaker. Unfortunately, the offered salary did not work for me and that is where the negotiations ended.
