The interview process was smooth and well-structured, consisting of four rounds:
HR Round: This was an initial screening where I was asked about my background, career aspirations, and why I was interested in Verve. The HR representative was friendly, explained the role and company culture in detail, and answered all my questions patiently.
VP Technical-Managerial Round: In this round, I met with the VP, who focused on understanding my technical expertise and how it aligned with the team’s goals. The questions were insightful, and I appreciated the emphasis on problem-solving and my approach to handling challenges.
Senior Data Engineer - Technical Round: This was a hands-on technical round with a senior data engineer. It involved SQL, Python, and Big Data-related problem-solving questions. The interviewer was professional and encouraged me to explain my thought process, making it a constructive experience.
Hiring Manager Round: The final round was with the hiring manager, who evaluated both technical and behavioral aspects. This round focused on my ability to fit into the team, contribute to ongoing projects, and align with Verve's vision.
