I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Viasat (Urbana, IL) in Feb 2016
Interview
I met an interviewer at a career fair and was offered an interview later that week. Two days later, I had a one on one interview with a current software developer there. There were no technical questions and I was only asked basic questions on my resume and my skill set. The interview was very relaxed. However, I did not hear back after and no response to my emails asking about the next steps involved of if I was rejected.

Interview
Met a representative at a career fair, and then got invited for an on-campus interview about a month later. Interview lasted about half an hour, and was pleasant overall. Had no technical questions, which was very surprising, since that's all I prepared for. Talked the whole time about my internship experiences, and my side projects.
