I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Visa Inc. in Jan 2012
Interview
Visa's recruiting process appears to be very disorganized. I had reached out to the recruiter via email, the recruiter did not conduct a typical phone screen and instead had me talk to the hiring manager directly. The hiring manager asked me to fly to CA for in-person panel interview. I interviewed with 6 people (30 minutes) each, key thing to keep in mind.. NO HR involvement yet.. they didn't even know my current salary or expectations and flew me out...
The interviewers generally seemed disinterested and noone made any effort to sell the company which I found very alarming.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Virginia Beach, VA) in Jun 2024
Interview
4 rounds of interview. Recruiter round followed by 3 technical rounds of interviews. First one with the Hiring Manager and 2 more rounds with fellow architects. Hiring Manager questions were all high level and was gauging the experience based on inouts i provided in his discussion. He went through their setup and stage where the project was and what they were expecting the resource to help with. They were basically setting up a landing zone and were in very initial journey of their cloud implementation.
