I applied online, took about a month for them to contact me for a phone interview. The phone interview was with a recruiter, Heather, who was very nice and friendly and made me feel comfortable and at ease. She answered any questions I had and gave me a heads up on what to expect for the second interview which was set up for the next week.
The second interview was with two supervisors who went rapid fire with questioning right from the start. No conversational tones, no friendly chatting at the beginning, nothing to really calm my nerves. The recruiter told me they use the STAR method beforehand (Google it!) and luckily I looked it up cause the supervisors didn't bother to explain it or even mention anything about it, they only said they wanted specific examples. They either asked vague questions or incredibly specific multi-part questions and expected you to have an immediate answer with details. And if you weren't specific enough they would ask you to elaborate. Overall I felt the interview was okay, I struggled with a few questions due to how specific they wanted the responses to be. One of the supervisors seemed encouraging while the other just stared at me and made me feel uncomfortable.
