Unacceptable Walmart policy. Wasted my time.
Interview process consists of 3 rounds.
1st one online coding assessment. 1st assessment consists Questions on DS and Algorithm and 2nd assessment more of reasoning skills and behavioral.
2nd round: They give take home assignment 24 hrs before the interview and interviewer asks to explain the code. Focus is on code quality, test cases, they also asks what shortcomings your code has, what could have been implemented more to make it better.
3rd round: Live coding. Difficulty level medium.
Even though both the interview went really well I got a rejection. Contacted recruiter and got to know that I am overqualified. They are looking for candidates who have less than 2 yrs of work experience. I have more than 3 yrs.
I must say this policy is not acceptable. There was no mention of this condition in Job description. Why did they conduct 3 rounds in the first place? I wasted 2-3 weeks.
I must say I really enjoyed the conversations with the interviewers, they shared their experience and expectations clearly and we had very good discussions.
