I applied online. I interviewed at Wayfair (Boston, MA) in Jun 2017
Interview
Prepare to be grilled — regardless of position (in my case I had anticipated a less strenuous experience due to the junior position). It's an intense hour-and-a-half conversation with two or more hiring managers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why a junior position for someone with your experience?
Met with a lot of people throughout the team and either answered their questions or just see if it was a personality fit. Whole thing lasted a couple hours. HR was unresponsive at getting back to me afterwards.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wayfair (Boston, MA) in Jul 2015
Interview
Had a phone interview, and completed a number of writing samples after that, and then went into the office where I met a total of five individuals, including the HR rep that showed me around the building. The individuals I met with were the senior manager, assistant manager, and two of the senior copywriters.
I thought everyone was great, my only complaint was how long they waited before the decision was made clear to me. Two weeks without a single word, despite my consistent (but not pestering) emails. A tad inconsiderate. We all have lives.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked if writing about the same thing every day would get boring and monotonous for me.
