What do you do when a client is requesting for something that is not doable?

I told the interviewer that foremost I acknowledge the client's concern or requirement then I advise client of what is covered per the agreement and will tell client that I shall review our options and assure client I will exhaust possible options and get back to the client in a timely manner.
