My coaching style involves helping the client both clarify their health and wellness goals and discover why they have not been able to achieve these goals in the past. The client and I will collaboratively create a plan of action to meet the client’s objectives. I have a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and have utilized cognitive behavioral therapy in past clinical practice with success. Using this approach, I assist the client in recognizing inaccurate and negative thinking so that they can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in more effective ways. I work with the client at a pace that is comfortable for them while still holding them accountable, in a gentle and encouraging manner, to follow through on any action steps that have been agreed upon for them. I understand that every situation is unique to the individual client and offer a non-judgmental, supportive, and safe atmosphere in which to meet health and wellness goals.
