Honestly, I embellished the majority of my previous teaching experience on my resume, so I just continued with those embellishments. In reality, my previous experiences were 1) as nanny to children who did not speak English as their first language, and 2) being a peer tutor in high school. I volunteered in a totally support-based capacity at a camp for ESLO kids, so I just implied that I had a lot of experience with new learners of the language through that, and that I had learned how important using TPR, repetition, and positive reinforcement are to building a child's understanding and their confidence.
