What you are hired for and your actual "job description" are two different things, especially when you are working with Indian owners. I was hired as a transport shuttle driver. One day in to this, between rund to the airport, they were yelling at me to put out the breakfast and pick up housekeepers (all never brought up when interview happened). Their question, "why do you want to work for us" was given an answer of "to work and learn , and possible advance in a new career area". Well, that was met with laughter, a $7.50 an hour offer for wages, no benefits, no sick time, holidays, vacations, any benefits whatsoever, and be at their beckoned. They will call you in and tell you you will get 4 hours pay, then send you home after one hour and not pay for the other three. They are horrible to work for and with. It's very hard to believe that Best Western would let owners like this represent their brand name. Western NY hotels and regional reps, take notice. ,
