      I’m wondering if one absolutely has to have their passport before applying. The “check your qualifications” section says “I have or am able to obtain a passport”, so that would lead me to believe you don’t need it immediately to simply apply. Thoughts?

      I would say you would need your passport prior to applying. Everyone that was selected in my group had a passport.

      You don’t have to have a passport when u apply. You should however have applied for it. They will ask for the date that you applied for it.
