So I never had an interview. I was contacted by recruiter over LinkedIn. Setup time for a call. Very general recruiter questions. The recruiter seamed as if she didn't have a skin in the game and could care less. I asked her to be specific on her resume questions as my background and experience is broad. I then asked her very specific questions on the position, why it was open, did they recruit from the inside, and what are they wanting specific. The recruiter did not seam happy that I was asking her all of these questions.
I also asked about there interview process and it was (phone screen, tech interview, assessment (are you smart enough to work here), panel interview, interview with the manager. I laughed and let her know they have more interview steps than google. She seamed less than thrilled I said that.
Two days after the call I received a CTS generic email rejection. From my call with the recruiter and her lack of enthusiasm I knew this place was a red flag, but any company that contacts you, and then sends a generic email rejection, is just garbage and should be avoided at all costs. It shows how inhuman they are and how little they would value your service and skills. Assessments are also just stupid. I am in sales an those tests have zero to do with customer engagement skills and building lasting relationships.
IMO this company should be ignored by any person that values professionalism and being polite to others. Recruiters are a first step to building a relationship with a potential employee and 7/10 recruiters screw this up.
Move on folks. There are to many companies like this, from CA, that have the same elites attitude and when your product sits in an over saturated customer service market, you have to do your best to get the best quality people.
