A memorable interview, perhaps for the wrong reasons. 13-17 days after I applied to the role, a recruiter reached out asking me to complete a written assessment. It was due just a couple of hours later, despite me getting the email before 7 AM my time. I begrudgingly obliged, given I was excited about the opportunity to contribute to X's defences ahead of major, global civic events. The questions were scenario-based and much easier than expected. I submitted the assessment within the aforementioned timeframe. Just a week later, news emerged that Elon Musk gutted the team the role sat under. I didn't hear anything from the recruiter after the announcement, though I didn't expect to, given it was a rather unexpected move.
