Xero Customer Service Representative interview questions

The interview process is okay. Should they like your CV you receive an email asking you for a time slot for a telephone interview. Should you be successful then you’ll be invited for a face to face interview and written assessment. My interview went well, however I had to chase them for an answer because it was a good week before I had heard anything. The email I got back was quite poorly written with no real thought to it - it literally said we loved getting to know you but the interviewing managers felt you were too experienced for this role and that you didn’t have enough KPI management experience ( I’m Head of Account Management...that’s literally half of my job which was made very clear in the interview!) I actually feel that the questions I asked the interviewers may of made them feel intimidated as they struggled to answer them themselves! (They were simple questions based on their own KPI management processes ironically) or given the impression I was pretty much on the same level (if not higher) than them professionally. My advice would be...if you know someone is too experienced or qualified for a role then why even bring them in for a face to face interview?
