      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Xerox

smooth process. HR round, then two technical rounds. HR will give clear details about benefits. same with managers they will tell you about their expectations. overall hassle free process.

      Team Manager Interview

      Feb 16, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Xerox

      Interview

The process was a little disappointing. After applying online. I was quite surprised to receive an e-mail from a recruiter indicating that I was to fill out a 28 question pre-screen questionnaire. This initial interaction was all I needed to know about the recruiter and consequently the company not being very interested in getting to know me or my skills. Just an fyi Xerox. The best way to conduct a pre screen is to actually call the potential candidates and ask pertinent questions that allow you to know if the person is qualified for the role being applied for. Sending an e-mail with 28 questions where you don't know if the potential candidate just went on google and copied and pasted canned responses to send back is not the most effective way to get the best candidates. I would be wary of this company and its hiring practices. Not a very serious overall process.

      Question 1

e-mail with 28 prescreen questions. A little ridiculous in my estimation. see a few examples below Give me an example of how you motivate others in the workplace. Please provide two examples of work assignments that you did not particularly enjoy doing in your current or past jobs. How did you deal with them? What was the outcome? Tell me about a time when you made a mistake in dealing with one of your direct reports. What was the final outcome and lessons learned? Describe for me your past work experience as a Supervisor. What did you like about these experiences? What did you dislike? How many direct and indirect reports did you have? What was the most difficult employee (direct report) situation you ever had to deal with? How did you handle the situation?

      Team Manager Interview

      Sep 22, 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Chesapeake, VA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Xerox (Chesapeake, VA) in Jul 2012

      Interview

Very organized and professional, they had a large volumn and it moved quickly and professionally. The interviewer was very professional and was very interested in hearing from you. They explained the job in detail, so much that you really had no questions at the end of the interview.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The most difficult question was to name a time when a call you had taken was not a good call.
