I arrived about 20 minutes early for my interview and let the girl at the front desk know my name. She looks me up and sees my resume and she tells me my most recent customer service job over a year needs to be at the top of the list, (I had listed my employment in order, starting with the most recent job) so she sends me to the computer room to update my information for the interview. Ok. So I take care of it and move the most recent customer service job at top. She then says, "oh, well all we need is the most recent job, delete all of the rest". She said it makes it easier for the person interviewing me...
How hard is it to pull up my resume and see which ones are customer service jobs and which aren't? I wasn't mad, just thought it was odd. Anyways, so I go and delete everything besides the most recent customer service job that was over a year, which for me, was back in 2009. (I've had another job since, but they didn't consider it customer service). Then they STILL aren't happy with this, so I have to go back, delete it, and add the MOST most recent one I had (less than a year) which was a job I had for 9 months. I had let them know that was my most recent, but was told not to include it since I had worked there less than a year. So I do that. THEN I am told it is showing on their computer all of the jobs I had, which I already had deleted. Turns out, my resume was interfering. I had previously asked if I should remove my resume and was told no. THEN I have to go back, remove it, and STILL there is a problem. What a headache. Didn't even begin an interview at this point, I was running back and forth so much. Finally, I get to begin my interview. The woman interviewing me was really nice and easy to talk to. They definitely will ask you if you will have any days you think you may need off like 5 times during your interview. They ask basically the average questions you'd expect to be asked.
I decided in the end not to accept the job offer. It kind of felt like they were all over the place. And one of the managers glared at me when I said good morning and smiled at her...
