Position Title: Sales Support Intern
Department: Sales / Business Development
Reports To: Sales Manager
Position Summary:
The Sales Support Intern will play a role in supporting the sales team by assisting with data collection, sales administration, and inside sales activities. This internship provides hands-on exposure to sales operations, revenue tracking, and customer support processes in a fast-paced business environment. The intern will work closely with sales representatives and sales management to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient execution of sales-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the sales team with daily administrative and operational tasks
Assist with data collection, organization and reporting related to sales activities and revenue
Enter and maintain sales quotes and customer information in internal systems
Process sales support requests, including tool invoice authorizations, quote entry and updates, sales documentation
Track and update various sales reports
Ensure accuracy and completeness of sales data across various systems
Assist in responding to internal sales inquiries in a timely manner
Support ongoing improvements to sales processes and documentation
Perform additional support tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and sales systems
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with CRM or ERP systems is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Self‑motivated with a willingness to learn and support a team
Reporting Structure:
Reports to: Sales Manager
Collaborates with: Account Management, Accounting, I.T., Capacity, Operations, Manufacturing, and other groups as necessary
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
