Disaster Restoration Lead (APM) Job Summary: The Disaster Restoration Lead / Assistant Project Manager (APM=Team Lead) supports the planning, coordination, and execution of disaster restoration projects. This role involves assisting the Project Manager in overseeing project activities, leading a team, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. - Schedule:-Monday - Friday -First shift - 6:45am - 3:30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:-
- Assists the Project Manager in planning and coordinating disaster restoration projects.
- Leads and supervises a team of technicians and support staff to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conducts site assessments and develops project scopes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Ensures all team members are trained and comply with safety protocols and procedures.
- Monitors project progress and provides regular updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
- Addresses and resolves any issues or challenges that arise during project execution.
- Maintains accurate project documentation, including progress reports.
- Ensures that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinates with clients and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
- Conducts final inspections and ensures that all project deliverables are met before project completion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred but high school diploma or equivalent is required. -IICRC certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the disaster restoration or air duct cleaning industry required.
- Strong understanding of disaster restoration principles and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Physical demands:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various environments, including office settings, construction sites, and disaster-affected areas.
- Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, to coordinate disaster restoration projects.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
