Propersys Corporation is looking for a passionate and motivated Mechanical Engineer for Gas Distribution Systems (GDS) who will work with our Engineering and Construction team to support and facilitate the GDS in our large scale construction project. This candidate will have interface with the Construction team to support planning and execution at different stages of the construction process. This candidate will also collaborate with the Engineering team to support the creation, modification, and implementation of gas delivery systems and assets. Duties:

• Develop and implement project work plans and review as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Prepare engineering designs, specifications, studies, cost-estimates, and the development of sound technical recommendations.
• Assist drafters in developing structural design of products using drafting tools, CAD, or other drafting equipment and software.
• Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet dynamic requirements.
• Supervise all construction type of work including: application drawing, piping, wall and floor opening, pipe rack, equipment foundation, equipment locating, welding argon management, management of electric panels for construction, punch management and improvement.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analyses for mechanical and system failures.
• Design and implement solutions to ensure machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
• Learn and understand existing architectures and make changes as needed for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
• Conduct onsite visits and coordinate with construction crew and operations personnel
• Establish and manage relations with independent contractors and vendors.
• Continuously streamline and optimize existing processes and functions.
• Prepare material picking lists, purchasing requests, daily and weekly reports to PM.
• Record progress and update into the construction table.
• Conduct pre-bid site walks with TSMC, and work with the sales team to prepare project quotations and define the project scope.

• Drawing recognition ability
• Superb attention to detail and self-motivated
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Requirements:

• Bilingual in Mandarin and English
• Cleanroom expereince
• Construction Experience
