Ohio Auto Recycling is growing again! We are currently seeking a retired mechanic or individual with an extensive automotive background to inspect and process newly purchased vehicles and components for inventory.

This position is repsonsible for testing, evaluating, grading, and pricing automotive parts for resale across multiple parts platforms. The ideal candidate combines hands-on automotive knowledge with solid computer and software skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test vehicles/parts to categorize and price for remarketing
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical components
• Grade parts accurately based on condition and functionality
• Price parts competitively and list them on automotive parts platforms
• Use Inventory management software and computer systems daily
• Document part conditions and test results clearly
• Maintain organization skills to maximize efficiency

Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive mechanic or strong background in automotive parts
• Solid understanding of engines, transmissions, suspension, electrical systems, and accessories
• Computer literate with experience using software and online parts platforms
• Ability to reach and price parts accurately based on market demand
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
