Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our fast-paced warehouse environment! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of heavy equipment, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks, to efficiently load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse distribution processes, accurate order picking, and safe materials handling. Duties

• Safely operate forklifts such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments.
• Perform order picking using various equipment including <PERSON> pickers and ensure accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.
• Manage warehouse inventory by organizing materials and maintaining proper storage practices in accordance with warehouse management system (WMS) protocols.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments and ensuring proper documentation.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic mechanical repairs or coordinate maintenance needs to keep machinery in optimal condition.
• Support warehouse distribution operations by handling materials with precision, utilizing pallet jacks and other tools for heavy lifting tasks.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines diligently to promote a safe working environment for all team members.

Skills

• Proven experience operating forklifts including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing.
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, shipping & receiving procedures, and order picking techniques.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Excellent understanding of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements.

Pay: $22.88 - $27.55 per hour
