We are a local print shop looking to fill a bindery operator position. Experience with various bindery equipment such as, paper cutters, Duplo cutter/creasers, glue binders, coil binders, paper drills, shrink wrappers and paddy wagons is essential. Mailing experience is a plus. Candidate will also be asked to deliver jobs locally.

Candidate must be able to focus on both small and large jobs as well as keep up with our production schedule.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED with experience or vocational/technical
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good mathematical skills
• Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up and
• Reliable attendance, punctuality and attention to work
• Meet or exceed minimum test results as specified by hiring manager. Primary Responsibilities:
• Operations of Equipment
• Operate cutter and folder, drill, stapler, numbering machine and other bindery
• Comply with all OSHA safety requirements
• Clean and maintain equipment following daily and weekly
• Hand Work
• Hand assemble pages, fold pages to specifications, stack and glue padding jobs, insert pages, and punch and spiral bind
• Packaging
• Monitor quality on all jobs being packaged, shrink wrap and/or box jobs for customer pickup and
• Bindery supply inventory
