Job Summary:
The warehouse manager is responsible for all warehouse-related duties, including monitoring inventory control levels, ordering products and supplies and managerial duties for two staff members. Coordinates the movement of stock/inventory/finished goods in the warehouse and onto trucks in an efficient, effective and safe manner. Responsible for transportation vehicles and related warehouse equipment, including material handling equipment.
Facilities duties include work relating to monitoring and engaging vendors in the repair of buildings, mechanical and/or electrical equipment; installing and aligning new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, stairs, etc. Also ensure safety standards are adhered to and the availability to be on call 24-7 to respond to alarms and power outage issues in support of production.
Essential Duties:
Warehouse Management
· Order products and supplies to support production business operations.
· Ensure inventory levels are monitored and maintained through inventory software system.
· Conforms with all safety rules and regulations and uses all appropriate safety equipment implemented by management.
· Performs shipping and receiving duties to include Ups, FedEx or other vendors.
Alarm System
· Manage contacts, assign secondary and backup contacts to address alarms after business hours. Provide and manage list of contacts with vendor. Set hours and schedule for arming and disarming office and warehouse zones.
· Train contacts on alarm system functions.
· Address any malfunctions or alarm system issues.
· Respond 24/7 in a timely manner when notified of building alarms.
Generator / Automatic Transfer Switch
· Provide documentation to Compliance Officer on preventive maintenance and load tests annually.
· Make sure TGC monitors the fuel level and proper fuel mixture in winter and summer.
Electrical
· Address any building electrical issues.
· Request quote from vendor to review cost.
· Plan, negotiate and implement installation of new equipment or hardware.
Plumbing
· Address any building plumbing issues.
· Request quote from vendor to review cost.
Compliance
· Provide officer with reports and documentation on requested building functions.
· Generator reports / load test.
· Fire System Reports / back flow / fire extinguisher / fire suppression tests. TGC is responsible for system maintenance. Test performed by Cintas or TC
· Provide annual production and capacity reports for audit.
· Work with compliance team on any changes or requests.
· Ensure staff and team are trained in processes and procedures.
Cleaning Service
· Manage cleaning service. Contract, duties and any special cleaning requests including floors, carpet, etc.
· Address complaints about missed assignments with building lead.
Vending Service
· Address any complaints on vending machines, money returns, etc.
Warehouse / Compressors / Material Handling equipment/ Pallet Jacks / Forklift
· Make certain staff maintain OSHA forklift training and certification.
· Primary interface with vendor on preventative maintenance and contracts.
· Ensure compressors are maintained and operational to support production requirements.
· Ensure operators oversee equipment in a safe manner.
Waste Removal
· Manage any contracts, schedule pickups.
HVAC
· Review annual maintenance contract with four units in warehouse, Liebert in old print room and Mitsubishi units in server room.
· Address any HVAC issues or problems.
Renkim Delivery Vehicle
· Make sure vehicles are maintained, licensed and washed regularly.
· Obtain rental vehicle when primary vehicle is down for maintenance.
Daily issues, problems, and maintenance
· Contacting vendors for repairs based on requirement.
· Monitor and observe building functions and equipment daily to address issues and ensure facility is clean, orderly, and ready to support daily business activities.
Other
· Must be punctual, have acceptable attendance record, and work overtime, when necessary.
· Professional and respectful conduct and communication are always in the workplace; and at work-related events.
· In-person work is always required
· All other duties as assigned by Renkim Management.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and preventative maintenance on building support systems.
· 2-3 years’ experience in various maintenance roles.
· Competence and comfort with general maintenance and custodial responsibilities are required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance.
· Strong negotiation skills on contracts and vendor quotes.
· Must exhibit a willingness to be helpful, flexible, patient and creative.
· Must have strong organizational skills and ability to meet objectives and deadlines.
· Must be capable of pushing, pulling and lifting to 40 pounds
· Ability to repetitively lift boxes/tubs/bins up to 40 pounds; and lift above shoulders
· Ability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks to move up to 2000 pounds
· Exposure to dust and ink fumes
· Exposure to marked changes in temperature or humidity
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
