Responsibilities
Provide Network Design & Configuration Assistance: Assist the Network/Security Engineer with designing and configuring local and wide area networks, wired and wireless networks, and voice networks. Manage the daily activities of local and wide area network systems, perform diagnostics, schedule preventative maintenance ensuring network systems are operational, and report systems faults to the Network/Security Engineer. Provide guidance and mentoring to Support Center Technicians for network events or issues. Assist with Cisco Unified Call Manager administration.
Assist in Implementing Security Procedures: Assist the Network/Security Engineer with developing, monitoring, and implementing network security procedures for the safeguard of all networking systems. Assist in maintaining camera hardware and software to include troubleshooting, working directly with associated vendors, hardware expansion, and security awareness management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. A combination of an Associate degree and at least two years of related work experience may be substituted. Over two years of experience in an Information Technology field.
Preferred:
Significant experience working with networks.
CCNA certification
CyberOPS experience
Network+ certification
Security+ certification
Cisco Security (SIEM tools)
