As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking skilled and experienced Audio Engineers to join our team.
Job Description:
As an Audio Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional sound quality during live events, concerts, performances, and other productions. You will work closely with our production team and artists/performers to set up, operate, and maintain audio equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical expertise and a strong understanding of live audio production.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate audio equipment, including but not limited to Yamaha CL5 and Midas M32 mixing consoles, microphones, amplifiers, speakers, and signal processors.
- Conduct sound checks, adjust audio levels, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during rehearsals or live events.
- Collaborate with artists, performers, and event organizers to understand their sound requirements and deliver optimal audio experiences.
- Monitor and control sound quality throughout performances, making real-time adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and storage of audio equipment, including routine checks.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in live audio production.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Audio Engineer, preferably in a professional event production or entertainment environment.
- In-depth knowledge of audio equipment, including mixing consoles, microphones, amplifiers, speakers, and signal processors.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with artists, performers, and production staff.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising sound quality.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional sound experiences.
- -Ability to lift 40lbs or more.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 years of live audio experience with at least one verifiable reference.
- Experience with running both Front of House and Monitors for live music.
- Experience with the Yamaha CL and Midas M32 consoles.
- Experience working with a variety of musical genres and performance styles.
