iBehave Therapy Group
We have proudly provided comprehensive, individualized, behavior support to individuals and families since 2014. We specialize in providing ABA therapy for individuals who have been diagnosed with Autism. We work with clients and their families to help them find solutions to the struggles they’re experiencing. Our clients receive customized behavioral support to meet their needs. We are passionate about what we do and love making a difference in our clients lives. We primarily work with children but may work with individuals of any age.
What is ABA therapy? Applied Behavior Analysis is a type of therapy that focuses on improving specific behaviors, such as social skills, communication, reading, and academics as well as adaptive learning skills, such as fine motor dexterity, hygiene, grooming, domestic capabilities, punctuality, and job competence. In other words, ABA Therapy focuses on identifying issues with an individual’s behaviors and/or learning skills and we work with them to better their behaviors and skills.
What you would do....
As a Behavior Technician you will provide one-on-one support and behavioral intervention services to individuals with Autism and support to their families. You will practice under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA. Communicate and work with supportive administrative staff and great co/workers. RBT’s work with clients in-home, in-school, in-clinic, and in the community. Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)-based programs as directed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will follow the Behavior Support Plan provided, collect data, and keep daily session notes as well. Other responsibilities include:
Training....
We provide paid training and pay for the courses for you to complete your RBT certification. You will need to complete online training (about 40 hours) and do in-clinic shadowing with one of our skilled RBT’s (9-12 hours.) Once you are done with the initial training you will complete a verbal competency assessment with one of the BCBA’s and then can begin working 1:1 as a behavior technician.
To become certified as an RBT you will then need to pass a proctored exam. We also provide BLS (Basic Life Support) training, Safety Care training, and other trainings throughout your employment. You must keep all your certifications current. If you are already an RBT that is a plus!
Pay....
Training and shadowing are paid at an administrative rate. Starting pay for a behavior technician is based on relevant ABA experience and education in a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.) We also offer drive time pay, mileage reimbursement, and monthly bonuses.
Pay: $15.25 - $25.75 per hour based off of ABA experience and education.
