Language Instructors

PGLS is looking for a Spanish Language Instructor to teach an intensive Spanish a a foreign language course for an adult professional, onsite in Minneapolis/ St. Paul area. This position is for a class starting in on June 20, 2026. Class is 6 hours/day, Monday to Friday, for 6 months - starting in the morning.

Requirements
Contract Requirements

• Educated native or bilingual speaker of Spanish
• 2+ year(s) of classroom experience teaching Spanish language to adult English-speaking students.
• 1+ year(s) of teaching experience in a small-group classroom setting.
• Must possess the cultural background of Spanish speaking geographical regions.
• Familiarity with the ILR language levels and ILR-based proficiency assessment highly desired.
• Familiarity with various computer platforms, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting software (Zoom, MS Teams).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a distributed team
• Strong client service, organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities
• Ability to work remotely and provide required services from alternate locations via Zoom, Skype, MS Teams, WebEx, etc. at the direction of the Client highly desired
• Instructors must be able to work interculturally in a harmonious and professional manner.
