**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team. The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible in developing sales leads, interfacing with customer during the sales phase, developing estimates, and closing sales.
**Duties:**
-Develop sales leads and track sales interactions through a successful sale
-Interact with customers to educate them on ICS products & services, undersatnd their project needs
- Gather information from customer for estimate creation including project requirements, scope of work and due dates
Core Responsibilities
-Business Development & Territory Management
-Drive Regional Growth: Proactively prospect and build relationships with property developers, facility managers, architects, and industry partners across Florida and Georgia.
-Manage the Pipeline: Track all leads, opportunities, and client communications, managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract execution.
-Field Presence: Travel regularly throughout the FL/GA territory using the provided company vehicle to meet with clients, assess job sites, and close business.
Technical Consulting & Estimating
-Site Assessments: Conduct thorough job site walks and field measurements to determine project scope, feasibility, and specific material/labor requirements.
-Technical Solutions: Advise clients on the best concrete, flooring, and general contracting solutions for their specific structural and aesthetic needs.
-Accurate Bidding: Prepare detailed, accurate, and profitable proposals, take-offs, and bid packages.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
-Project Handoff: Ensure a seamless transition of closed deals to the project management and field operations teams, providing clear documentation of the client's expectations and project scope.
-Profitability Focus: Work closely with the operations and estimating teams to ensure that jobs are not just won, but are priced and executed profitably (directly impacting the company-wide profit-share pool).
-Market Intelligence: Provide continuous feedback to leadership regarding market trends, competitor pricing, and new product opportunities in the concrete and flooring sectors.
Qualifications to Include
-Experience: 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience specifically within the commercial construction, concrete, or flooring industries.
-Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints, structural drawings, and construction specifications.
=Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel extensively throughout Florida and Georgia, including overnight stays.
-Driving Record: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (required for company car insurance).
-Billingual (English & Spanish)
-US Citizen or Permanent Resident
-Experience using Project Management Software (Gantt Charts/Earned Value Management)
-Ability to work as a team member
-Self driven and able to work independantly
-Proficient in construction math, blueprint reading and proficient in the means and methods of construction
