Position Overview: The Data Analyst at Restoration of America (ROA) is responsible for creating, enriching, validating, and analyzing large datasets from multiple sources to identify insights and trends that enhance ROA and its partner group's political effectiveness. The analyst works closely with leadership, political strategists, and the Restoration News team to develop data-driven solutions and innovative AI applications that improve campaign and organization performance. Using advanced analytical and coding skills, the analyst supports various political efforts through statistical modeling, voter targeting analysis, and automated reporting systems. The role requires collaboration across teams in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the analyst provides flexible support during high-intensity election periods when extended availability including evenings and weekends is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dataset Creation & Enrichment - Build and enhance datasets by combining multiple data sources and integrating new data streams into existing workflows
• Data Validation & Comparative Analysis - Conduct validation checks by sourcing external data and performing cross-referencing analysis against existing datasets
• Statistical Analysis – Identify patterns in political data to inform targeting and other decision making
• AI Innovation & Application Development - Research and implement innovative AI solutions, including machine learning and generative AI tools for political data challenges
• Reporting & Communication - Create automated reporting systems and translate complex analytical findings into actionable insights for stakeholders
• Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with political strategists, leadership, and news teams to support data-driven initiatives and partner organizations
• Election Cycle Support - Provide extended availability and rapid analytical response during high-intensity campaign periods including evenings and weekends
• Messaging Operations & Campaign Execution - Execute and analyze targeted voter outreach campaigns using internal and external messaging platforms

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in political campaigns or advocacy organizations
• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and data manipulation
• Strong programming skills in Python for statistical analysis and data processing
• Familiarity with voter file data and political campaign operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present findings to non-technical audiences
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends during election periods
• Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated application of Artificial Intelligence in prior roles

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
