Titan Echo Construction Analyst Engineering Internship
Titan Echo is seeking motivated engineering students and recent graduates interested in applying engineering principles to real-world construction projects and building analysis. This internship is designed for students pursuing careers in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related construction-focused disciplines.
This role is not intended for software engineering, computer science, IT, or programming-focused applicants.
As part of our engineering team, interns work directly with commercial construction projects by analyzing drawings, evaluating building systems, developing construction estimates, and researching building components across a wide range of property types. Our team applies engineering concepts to understand how buildings are designed, constructed, and costed.
What You’ll Learn
Interns will gain hands-on experience in:
- Reading and interpreting commercial construction drawing packages
- Understanding civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical building systems
- Construction estimating and quantity takeoffs
- Material analysis and cost evaluation
- Construction methods and sequencing
- Exposure to building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Researching existing structures with limited documentation
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary engineering environment
Responsibilities
- Perform quantity takeoffs and construction cost analysis for commercial buildings using estimating tools and engineering methodologies
- Review and interpret construction drawings including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical plans
- Analyze building systems and components to support project evaluations and engineering models
- Research construction materials, assemblies, and building practices
- Assist in developing methods to evaluate existing buildings when limited construction documentation exists
- Work collaboratively with engineers and construction professionals on project deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in:
- Civil Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Construction Management
- Construction Engineering or related fields
- Strong interest in buildings, construction processes, estimating, or design
- Ability to read or willingness to learn construction drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
