OVERVIEW
A Sport Director is responsible for the performance, strategy, and growth of our high school showcase business for a specific book of business. This role combines sales, marketing, event planning, and leadership to deliver top-tier events and hit aggressive enrollment goals. You’ll work in lockstep with the COO – DSS - DSO to align your sport’s growth strategy with broader company priorities, owning both the day-to-day and the long game.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIESSALES & RELATIONSHIPS
· Build deep, ongoing relationships with college coaches to create meaningful partnerships
· Engage athletic departments & coaches to upgrade venues and enhance the event experience
· Partner with influential leaders in your sport to elevate CCSC’s visibility, credibility, and data leadership
MARKETING COORDINATION
· Communicate upcoming coach assignments and branding opportunities to the Social Media, Data & Email team and Ops teams
· Approve and oversee coach letter production, from draft to printer approval
· Review and sign off on sport-specific marketing materials before campaigns launch
· Surface and share cold leads, contact lists, and relevant rosters to Data, Sales, or Ops for follow-up
EVENT OPERATIONS & SYSTEM MANAGEMENT
· Own the event calendar: meet all internal deadlines for booking, staffing, and marketing
· Select and confirm coaches for each event; ensure balanced and credible rosters
· Keep all event details up-to-date in the Operating System
· Maintain real-time accuracy across event websites, facility notes, camp plans, and coach travel
· Ensure all sport-specific event nuances and logistical notes are communicated clearly
· Monitor all coach records and ensure travel outreach and preferences are current across the system
GOAL TRACKING & REPORTING
· Consistently meet (or beat) sport-level goals across revenue, enrollment, and event performance metrics
· Maintain levels of coaches who are partnered with CCSC
WHO YOU ARE
· A relationship-first leader who knows how to generate results through people
· Comfortable owning a full P&L-style role, balancing execution with strategy
· Detail-oriented and deadline-driven, with a high standard for quality and brand
· Prior experience in college athletics, event marketing, and sales, or a fast-paced youth sports company is a strong plus
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
