Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Concrete Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. This role combines the critical functions of accurately estimating concrete construction projects and overseeing their successful execution from start to finish. You will be responsible for preparing precise cost estimates, developing competitive bids, negotiating contracts, and managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. Your expertise will ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex concrete projects while collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to achieve outstanding results. Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction estimates for concrete projects using Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating software, ensuring accuracy in pricing and quantity takeoffs
• Develop comprehensive project proposals by analyzing plans, specifications, and site conditions
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining project profitability
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources throughout all phases of construction
• Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines
• Coordinate with design teams, clients, and subcontractors to resolve issues promptly and maintain smooth workflow
• Implement cost control measures by tracking expenses and adjusting project plans as needed to stay within budget

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on concrete or heavy civil projects
• Strong background in construction management and project oversight on active job sites
• Proficiency in Bluebeam for document management and markup; experience with HeavyBid or similar estimating tools is highly desirable
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure contracts and manage vendor relationships effectively
• Knowledge of construction contracts, scope management, and risk mitigation strategies
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and quality assurance practices
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
