Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Processing Associate to join our financial services team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing accurate account opening paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the integrity of our financial operations. Key Responsibilities

• Review, process, and maintain new insurance applications, mutual fund accounts, brokerage accounts and annuity accounts with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Verify applicant information, supporting documentation, and policy requirements to ensure completeness and compliance with company guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Update and maintain policyholder records, including financial information, payment details, beneficiary designations, ownership changes, address updates, and other policy-related modifications.
• Process life event changes such as marriages, divorces, births, deaths, name changes, beneficiary updates, and ownership transfers while ensuring all required documentation is obtained and verified.
• Conduct thorough reviews of submitted forms and documentation to identify discrepancies, missing information, or potential processing issues.
• Communicate with policyholders, agents, financial advisors, and internal departments to obtain required information and resolve application or policy servicing concerns.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers, underwriting departments, third-party administrators, financial institutions, and other involved parties to facilitate timely processing of applications and policy changes.
• Monitor the status of pending transactions and proactively follow up with insurance companies, vendors, broker dealers and internal teams to ensure completion within established service standards.
• Track and manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accurate records of all communications, documentation, and processing activities.
• Ensure all transactions are processed in accordance with company procedures, state and federal regulations, privacy requirements, and industry compliance standards.
• Research and resolve policy administration issues, escalating complex cases when appropriate.
• Maintain detailed electronic records and documentation within agency management systems, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, and insurance carrier portals.
• Review incoming correspondence, policy documents, endorsements, and carrier communications for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate reports, update workflow systems, and maintain processing logs to support operational efficiency and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency, reduce processing delays, and enhance the overall client experience.
• Assist with quality assurance reviews to ensure data integrity and minimize processing errors.
• Stay current on financial regulatory requirements, insurance products, carrier requirements, policy administration procedures, and changes impacting insurance operations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client financial, personal, and policy information while adhering to data security and privacy standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience processing insurance applications, policy servicing transactions, or financial account administration preferred.
• Ability to interpret insurance forms, policy documents, and carrier requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Chrome, CRM systems, and insurance management software.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of life insurance, annuities, beneficiary processing, and policy administration is highly desirable but not required.

Pay: $21.50 - $30.00 per hour
