Through its DeepSport Solutions, our proprietary analytics and decision-intelligence platform, we empower major brands to optimize their sponsorship spend, maximize sponsorship activation, and multiply the value generated through their sponsorship investments.

We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build the SportsBiz Application Platform from the ground up. You’ll own features from frontend to backend, delivering elegant, high-performance tools that shape the future of sports marketing.

• Phase 1 (Now): You will receive meaningful equity ownership from day one alongside occasional cash stipends.
• Phase 2 (Post-Funding): You will transition immediately to your full base salary ($100k–$120k), equity performance bonuses, and full benefits.

How We Work: AI-First Engineering

At SportsBiz, AI isn't a tool you reach for occasionally—it’s a core team member. We expect our engineers to deeply integrate AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) into their daily workflow.

This doesn't mean a lower bar for engineering; it means a higher one. We aren't looking for code-copy-pasters. We want elite engineers who know exactly when to lean on AI to eliminate boilerplate and accelerate development, and exactly when to override it because human architectural intuition is required. You will spend less time on mundane syntax and more time solving the complex data problems that actually move the needle.

What You’ll Do

As a senior member of our lean engineering team, you will bridge the gap between user-facing features and heavy-duty data engineering.

Full-Stack Development

• Build and optimize slick, highly responsive frontend analytics interfaces using React.
• Design resilient, high-performance backend APIs and microservices in Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.

Databricks Integration

• Partner with Data Science to connect our app to Databricks Jobs, Workflows, and ML pipelines.
• Build backend services that trigger, monitor, and consume data directly from our Lakehouse architecture (Delta tables).

Cloud & Platform Architecture

• Own and optimize our AWS footprint (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch) to ensure extreme reliability.
• Maintain clean CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Architect core cross-cutting concerns: logging, auth, error handling, and performance tuning.

What You BringMinimum Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience (ideally in a fast-paced startup environment).
• The Stack: Strong, production-proven proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and SQL.
• Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience architecting AWS infrastructure and managing containerized apps (Docker/K8s).
• AI Native: Active experience using tools like Cursor or Claude Code inside a production workflow. You can demonstrate how you use AI to move faster without sacrificing quality.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, SQL Warehouses, or Databricks APIs.
• A solid understanding of data lakehouse architectures (Bronze/Silver/Gold tiers).
• A genuine passion for sports, analytics, or data-driven software.
