CSI Companies is seeking a Technical Engineering Lead (React Native) to play a pivotal role in transforming development strategies with cutting-edge technologies and AI-powered practices for our enterprise healthcare client.

In this influential position, you'll spearhead the adoption of React Native for Web, driving a unified codebase across iOS, Android, and web platforms, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build reusable libraries and design systems that accelerate product delivery and boost efficiency.

Hours: 40 hours/week
Location: Onsite in Dallas, TX or Remote
Pay: Starting at $70/hr.
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

What you’ll do:

• Provide technical leadership in developing a unified codebase using React Native for Web, enabling "develop once, twice" efficiency across iOS, Android, and web applications.
• Architect and implement reusable component libraries with JSON-labeled components to maximize code reuse.
• Design and execute enterprise-wide design systems that promote consistency and accelerate release cycles.
• Drive full-stack technical direction, including front-end, mid-tier, back-end, and APIs, with a focus on mobile and front-end layers.
• Champion AI-integrated development practices to boost productivity and quality.
• Mentor senior engineers and guide teams through technical challenges and strategic initiatives.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of full-stack development with a focus on mobile and web.
• Previous leadership experience in cross-platform development environments.
• Proven experience leading React Native (mobile) and React web (JavaScript/TypeScript) projects.
• Strong understanding of Azure services and enterprise architecture.
• Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining component libraries and design systems.
• Experience with both greenfield and legacy interface development.
• Proficiency in source control and collaboration tools.

Nice to have:

• Deep knowledge of AI-assisted development techniques.
• Experience with native mobile development in Swift and Kotlin.
• Prior experience in a leadership role involving cross-functional communication.
• Familiarity with JSON-labeled reusable components and design system integration.
