Jensen Sales & Marketing, Inc., a leading manufacturer’s representative firm in the Intermountain West, is seeking a driven Outside Sales Associate with experience in the plumbing and HVAC industries. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team representing top-quality products in Utah.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a results-oriented sales professional with a strong background in selling plumbing and HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with products such as boilers, heat pumps, residential and commercial water softeners, water treatment systems, pumps, and other related plumbing equipment. In this role, you will build relationships with wholesale distributors, contractors, engineers, and end users to grow sales and support our manufacturers’ brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with plumbing and HVAC distributors, contractors, engineers, and builders.
• Promote and sell a range of products including boilers, heat pumps, softeners, water treatment systems, pumps, and more.
• Provide product training and technical support to customers and contractors.
• Identify new business opportunities and follow up on leads to expand market share.
• Work closely with our manufacturers to coordinate sales efforts, promotions, and product launches.
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and conduct job site visits to support and grow customer relationships.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts, and work collaboratively with our internal team to achieve territory goals.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of outside sales experience in the plumbing and HVAC industry required.
• Strong technical understanding of boilers, heat pumps, water softeners, pumps, and water treatment systems.
• Existing relationships with local distributors and contractors is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $103,000.00 per year
