Duties

• As a standalone contributor, you will work independently to design, build, and launch AI-driven products. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, initiative, creativity, resourcefulness, and the ability to develop complete end-to-end AI solutions with minimal supervision.
• Designing and implementing machine learning models using frameworks and other AI tools.
• Support data collection, cleaning, and transformation processes utilizing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) techniques and Big Data tools like Hadoop and Spark.
• Contribute to model training, evaluation, and optimization for applications including natural language processing and data mining.
• Develop scalable solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, ensuring efficient deployment of AI models.
• Participate in database design, data analysis, and visualization tasks using SQL, Looker, and other analytics platforms.
• Document project progress and prepare reports to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Data Science, or a similar field with a strong interest in AI and machine learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C, or VBA; experience with Bash (Unix shell) is a plus.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or similar tools; experience with model training and deployment is preferred.
• Knowledge of big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, Talend, and database design principles.
• Understanding of natural language processing techniques and AI concepts such as unsupervised learning and data mining.
• Experience working with cloud services like AWS for deploying scalable AI solutions is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively on complex projects involving SQL, R, SAS, or Looker.
