Job Description
E.L.B. Automotive is seeking an experienced automotive mechanic to join our team! We are a newly renovated, air-conditioned facility with new equipment and tools to make your job easy and efficient. Healthcare, retirement, and good paid time off benefits are included. This employee must possess general mechanical knowledge and be able to address both minor and comprehensive mechanical repairs. Must be knowledgeable with most makes and models and have a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Conduct inspections and testing to diagnose potential issues and ensure vehicles have been repaired properly and are in good working order.
• Have a solid understanding of diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Compile estimates based on work needed.
• Deliver repairs or replacements on a timely basis.
• Maintain excellent work ethic and attend classes if needed to maintain certification.

Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of vehicles.
• Ability to work with team members (automotive, customer service, etc.) and communicate effectively.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to climb in and around vehicles.
• Certifications (e.g., ASE) a definite plus.
• Dependable and trustworthy.
• Additional pay potential for knowledge and experience in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) diagnostics and repair.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
