The Onsite Manager/Recruiter will manage and coordinate temporary employees at a client location. They act as the central contact for hiring managers and recruiting to identify openings.
ONSITE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide full-service recruitment for skilled labor / light industrial positions including warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, shipping & receiving, pickers/packers, material handlers and forklift drivers, machine operators, and other positions as required
- Assist with filling client temporary orders and temp to hires
- Conduct orientations, review GMP’s, PPE’s and safety training
- Daily check-ins of our XCEL employees, reporting any absences or tardiness to management and/or supervisors ·
- Updating employee and client profiles and records through Tempworks
- Heavy report generation
- Preparing payroll and payroll reports
- Walking the production floor, conducting quality checks, disciplinary action as necessary
- Ensure all employees are adhering to GMP’s and using PPE’s
- Filling out injury reports and documenting as needed
- Maintain excellent relationship with all candidates, employees, and management
- Recruit talent from the local community using word of mouth techniques, social media as well as delivering flyers as required
- Implement company culture, values, and policies
- Coordinate company events focused on employee recognition
ONSITE MANAGER SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate should have experience working in the staffing industry, in the light industrial industry, working with a growing team of temporary associates
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Bilingual English and Spanish required
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Strong computer skills that include Microsoft Word, Excel and an ATS (applicant tracking systems) - XCEL uses TempWorks Beyond and Enterprise.
- Needs to be highly organized with a great attention to detail
- Outgoing and approachable personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting daily deadlines
- Demonstrates accountability
- Able to work independently
- Previous recruiting in a high-volume environment for a minimum of 2 years
- Multi-tasking abilities
- The Onsite Manager will be able to work with all levels of management and team members
