A leading Columbia-based law firm is seeking an experienced Defense Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. The firm handles complex civil litigation and represents clients across a variety of industries.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents
• Support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation
• Assist with discovery, depositions, and subpoenas
• Manage case files and document organization (iManage preferred)
• Conduct document review and analysis
• Prepare for trial, including exhibits and witness coordination
• Analyze medical records and prepare summaries

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of litigation experience (defense preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
• Experience with billing time and adherence to client billing guidelines
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; iManage experience a plus
• Ability to travel for trial as needed- trial experience highly preferred
