Optometrist - Full-time/Part-time - Full Scope Private Practice - Bishop, CA (International Climbing Destination!)

Our practice was established in 1949 by an SCCO graduate and WWII Veteran, and have been proudly providing care to our community since. Our MO is to give our patients what they need-we are not here to sell things, we’re here to make lives better. This work ethic has given us a loyal, incredible patient base-we are treating the 3rd generations of many of our patients. What You’ll Need:

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree (or pending)
• Valid CA state license to practice optometry (or pending)
• Availability to work

Exposure: We treat a great deal of ocular disease in our practice. As we are the only private eye care practice in a 200-mile range we see everything here, and our doctors need to feel comfortable treating disease, managing scleral and specialty contact lenses, pediatrics, ocular disease, and glaucoma in addition to comprehensive primary care.

Environment: Our team is well-trained and is here to guarantee each other’s success and the success of our patients. You’ll be working alongside three opticians, another doctor, a biller, and our office manager. Schedule: We value work-life balance - therefore our doctors work standard hours, 8 AM to 5 PM with no weekends! Similarly, we know the importance of scheduling for our doctor and our patients’ wellbeing, so our doctors see no more than 14 patients for comprehensive exams per day.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary commensurate with experience, starts $600/day.Benefits include:
