Texarkana Tractor Company operates thirteen dealerships, including ten Kubota locations and three New Holland locations across East Texas and Central Arkansas.

The Equipment Sales Associate is responsible for selling agricultural, construction, turf, power sports, and outdoor power equipment to both new and existing customers. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying equipment needs, demonstrating product features, and delivering solutions using the dealership’s full lineup of equipment and attachments.
The Equipment Sales Associate actively develops new business opportunities, manages customer accounts, and collaborates with the service and parts departments to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Reliable transportation and the ability to work Saturdays as needed are required.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Development
- Sell new and used agricultural, construction, turf, and outdoor power equipment.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations for tractors, mowers, UTVs, and outdoor power equipment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, contractors, landowners, municipalities, and commercial customers.
- Generate new leads through prospecting, referrals, and community networking.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify future equipment needs.
Product Knowledge
- Maintain strong knowledge of the dealership’s full lineup of equipment including:
- Tractors and construction equipment
- Commercial and residential mowing equipment
- Utility vehicles
- Outdoor power equipment
- Attachments, implements, and accessories
- Stay current on product updates, pricing programs, promotions, and manufacturer incentives.
- Understand product features, benefits, warranties, and financing options to customers.
Sales Process Management
- Prepare equipment quotes, proposals, and purchase agreements.
- Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Coordinate equipment availability, setup, and delivery with operations staff.
- Assist customers with financing paperwork and documentation.
Customer Experience
- Provide a professional buying experience from first contact through equipment delivery.
- Participate in dealership events, trade shows, and customer appreciation activities.
- Address customer concerns and coordinate solutions with service or parts departments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous sales experience preferred (equipment, automotive, agriculture, or powersports).
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to operate or learn to safely operate tractors and equipment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in agriculture, construction, landscaping, or outdoor power equipment.
- Knowledge of tractors, implements, attachments, and turf equipment.
- Existing network of farmers, contractors, landowners, or commercial property owners.
