JOB SUMMARY:
The Income Auditor II will audit daily revenue and cash, as well as month end closing duties. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Quapaw Casino’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to complete daily revenue audits of the Casino, food & beverage, retail, including, but not limited to:
- All the audits required for Income Auditor I
- Main Bank and associated banks
- Quapaw Casino EGM (or equivalent)
- Payroll tip entries
- Daily Operating Reports
- Promotions
- Can complete the following monthly tasks, or equivalent, accurately.
- 1 of the month counts (all types)
- Month-end journal entries
- Vault verification
- Safekeeping verification
- Prepares and keys daily revenue journal entries for Quapaw Casino as needed.
- Reconcile, at least 3, audit related balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the month end closing process, as directed.
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets with daily revenue data
- Assist in other projects, as directed.
- Can work as a team member and independently.
- Attending all necessary meetings and keeping supervisor informed of all necessary items as directed.
- Responsible for providing directions for daily pickup of all needed data from the Casino and gaming, and non-gaming.
- Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner always. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Attend all necessary training meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have proficient computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to define and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers.
- Must be able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees.
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
- Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
- Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years’ audit experience at a casino
- General office, Cashier, or POS experience.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK DEMANDS
The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud. When on the casino floor, the noise levels increase too loud. Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted.
- Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation and be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino.
- Adequate manual dexterity to operate office equipment
- Light lifting of up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
- Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
- Must be able to effectively understand and communicate with supervisors.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
