Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and professional Sales Intern to support our SaaS sales and marketing teams. This role provides hands-on experience in outbound prospecting, lead qualification, marketing support, and general office operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable making phone calls, highly organized, and eager to learn the fundamentals of SaaS sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Development
· Make a minimum of 15 outbound calls per hour using provided tools, scripts, and CRM
· Prospect and qualify leads within assigned market segments
· Schedule meetings and software demonstrations for senior sales representatives
· Document all activities, notes, and follow-ups accurately in the CRM
· Conduct basic account research to identify key decision-makers
· Maintain clean and up-to-date lead and client data
· Meet daily, weekly, and internship performance metrics
Marketing Support
· Assist with marketing campaigns including email outreach, mailers, event preparation, and content distribution
· Support traditional and digital marketing initiatives (social media, web presence, campaigns)
· Help prepare sales and marketing materials, presentations, and reports
· Manage and update marketing lead lists and databases
Front Desk & Administrative Support
· Provide front desk coverage as needed, including greeting visitors and answering phones
· Assist with scheduling, data entry, reporting, and general administrative tasks
· Support office operations to ensure smooth day-to-day workflow
Customer Interaction
· Communicate with prospects and clients professionally to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
· Educate prospective customers on company software products and value proposition
· Provide superior customer service in all interactions
Qualifications
Required
· Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university (Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred)
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Comfortable with high-volume outbound calls
· Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace; CRM experience a plus)
· Professional demeanor, reliability, and strong work ethic
Preferred
· Interest in SaaS, technology, sales, or marketing
· Previous customer-facing or internship experience
· Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
