Acupuncturist Position Opening

Soft Corner is a radical, trauma-informed health clinic rooted in compassion, curiosity, and care. We offer evidence-informed, integrative health services for a diverse and vibrant community, grounded in the principles of equity, autonomy, and holistic healing.

We are seeking an acupuncturist to step into an established acupuncture practice with an existing patient base and strong referral network. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team that includes massage therapists, midwives, lactation consultants, nutritionists, and pelvic floor physical therapists, all working together to provide comprehensive, person-centered care.

Our practitioners regularly collaborate and cross-refer, creating opportunities to support clients through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, pelvic health, chronic pain, mental health concerns, and whole-family wellness. We serve individuals and families across the lifespan, with particular expertise in reproductive, perinatal, and family health.

The ideal candidate is curious, self-aware, and grounded, with both strong clinical skills and a deep capacity for presence, relationship-building, and emotional intelligence. We are looking for a practitioner who is excited to integrate traditional Chinese medicine with current research and evidence-informed approaches to provide effective, compassionate care.

Position Details

• Full-time position
• Hourly pay ranging from $45–$85 per hour, depending on experience and credentials
• W-2 employment or independent contractor arrangement available

Ideal Candidate

• Current Maine Acupuncture License
• Experience and comfort working with pregnant and postpartum individuals
• Experience supporting clients with a range of mental health concerns
• Ability to integrate evidence-based strategies with traditional Chinese medicine approaches
• Commitment to lifelong learning and ongoing personal and professional development
• Enthusiastic about medical and bodily autonomy
• Dedicated to equity, inclusivity, and accessibility
• Deeply compassionate, self-aware, and skilled at maintaining healthy boundaries
• Aligned with trauma-informed principles and willing to engage in reflective practice
