We are currently recruiting for a part-time Therapist (consultant/1099) position in our 24/7 Calvert Crisis Response program to provide behavioral health counseling and crisis services to individuals who present to the clinic or as appropriate for the Mobile Crisis Unit. This role works with medical professionals and peer recovery specialists to make level of care recommendations, including utilization of ASAM criteria, and referrals to services. This position also includes the assistance in facilitation of treatment referrals as appropriate.
JOB DUTIES: Complete assessments, referrals and intakes for individuals who are referred or walk into CCBH seeking treatment or by activated Mobile Crisis Unit. This is accomplished in a face-to-face interview during which a variety of assessment tools are utilized, including screenings which assess whether client presents a threat to self or others. This function assists individuals seeking treatment to access the appropriate services and level of care according to ASAM criteria. Assist with treatment planning process as needed with clients by assisting them in the development of treatment goals and objectives. Develops treatment plans in compliance with COMAR/CCBH guidelines. Treatment plans are to cover core areas of concern to include substance use, mental health, medical, employment, education, family relationships, and criminal issues. Ensure clients seen on Mobile Crisis Unit are integrated into appropriate services after initial meeting.
REQUIREMENTS: License within the State of Maryland (graduate level or fully licensed). Availability to cover a variety of shifts with some weekend availability. (Shifts are generally 7 am - 3:30 pm, 3 pm - 11:30 pm, 11 pm - 7.30 am+1 day; 24/7 program).
WORK LOCATION: Prince Frederick (in-person).

REQUIREMENTS: Clinical license (LCPC, LCSW-C, LCADC, or LCMFT) trough the Board of Professional Counselors or Social Workers within the State of Maryland. Work up to 40 hours per week. Must include one weekend-shift at least twice per month. (Shifts are generally 7 am - 3:30 pm, 3 pm - 11:30 pm, 11 pm - 7.30 am+1 day; 24/7 program).

As a school based therapist with Calvert County Behavioral Health, you will get to work directly with students at their school and impact many children and youth in Calvert County.

We are seeking a certified Alcohol & Drug Trainee or licensed part-time therapist to provide primarely group counseling with individuals counseling services as well as conducting evaluations for up to 3 days per week at the Detention Center.
